Using the National Core Art Standards, I apply essential questions and a performance task that could be used to assess this standard.

This Backward Design Template assisted me in fleshing out all my thoughts and elements for this assessment into one document.

Within this writing I designed a rubric based off Standard #8 from my idea bank. I then used a mock data set to interpret the data based on the 20 mock students.

Here are my thoughts on designing a grading system based on my knowledge of assessment and application of data inquiry. This is a process that I believe is evolutionary and will change through experience and application.
Data Inquiry Cycle
Within this Data Inquiry Cycle I use three of the National Core Art Standards [Standards 1, 3, 8] to create an assessment cycle process that could be used to assess students understanding.
